Welcome!
Hello and thank you for visiting my webpage! My name is Amber Taylor and I am the founder of Adcat Designs. I have always been passionate about doing things that involve using my hands and my creativity, whether it's through making cat toys and tunnels or designing websites, decals, logos or t-shirts. I graduated magna cum laude with a degree in business management and blessed to have been working full-time for Progressive Insurance, since 2005.
In my personal time, I devote myself to the following rescues/projects:
As part of of my efforts to help animals, I am proud to say that I have been donating 25% or more of every dollar spent in my shop to 501(c)(3) non-profit rescues since opening in 2015.
Others may offer similar services, but my passion for helping animals in need is unparalleled and few care as deeply about animal rescue and helping non-profit organizations as I do!
In my personal time, I devote myself to the following rescues/projects:

On a personal note...
I grew up with cats and came by my love of them honestly. After I lost my childhood cat Friskie, I was so devastated that I said I'd never have another. That was, until I saw Care Bear several years later. I found her up for adoption in a bird shop in Willoughby, OH. I had 20 wonderful years with her.
Grace was my tortoiseshell vision-impaired, wobbly soul kitty. She was declawed by her previous family and was found wandering the streets, emaciated and scared. I saw her posted on Facebook and adopted her from Wyandotte, MI. I had 8 years with her before she crossed the bridge at about 18 years old.
Butters was a street cat that was too friendly to stay outside. Butters is approximately 9 years old, FIV+ and is an absolute love bug who enjoys belly rubs and being held like a baby.
At 2 days old Piper came in to foster care and was bottle fed until she grew strong. I adopted her as a kitten and she has been an amazing addition to the family. She is 4 years old now and is too smart for my own good. Piper loves to sleep in my arms or draped across my shoulders and enjoys a rousing game of fetch with me every day.
Luna was a stray/garage cat who was sold to a family under the guise that she was a kitten (she's very small). The resident cat in the home didn't accept her within the first week and the family planned to put her down. I offered to take her and foster her until we found her a good home. We found out she was at least 8 years old, FIV+ and had never been spayed. I fell in love. I call her my rocket-fueled chinchilla because her fur is super thick and she never stops moving, unless it's to snuggle.
I'm also blessed to have welcomed into the family 2 new members - Charlie and Harper, 6 month old siblings. They were born to a feral mom and brought in to Euclid Beach Cat Project. They are absolute maniacs but are also incredibly loving.
All of my kids are medically needy in various ways, but that's okay, I love them just as they are! I'm blessed to be able to work from home with them and they make my heart happy, every single day.
